Organizations require minimal changes and they can directly migrate to zscaler whereas palo prisma mostly tied with their existing networks and firewalls and onboarding them

Being first vendor in cloud security, its well tested platform. So customers will chose it as it will have less number of bugs when compared to other vendors in market, as its first company they would have got better suggestions from customer and what to implement next and they are already working on it. Zscaler's long track record as a SASE and Zero Trust pioneer gives organizations confidence that the platform can handle global operations at enterprise scale.

Many palo customers gets the best value if they integrate with palo alto echo system. Whereas Zscaler works equally with any vendors like fortinet, cisco palo and it will not create any disturbance.

Zscaler born on cloud, unlike palo which switched from traditional to cloud. Considering this fact these zscaler team well versed with cloud technologies and their support team is well versed with their architectures, so if there is any issue their team immediately solve the issue.

Palo alto secures network, end point, cloud work loads, SOC operations from single ecosystem. Whereas zscaler primarily focussed on SASE and zero trust access. Zscaler is very narrow and palo is very broad.

Bigger enterprises already run thousands of palo firewalls and other security products, so they have user information, app id and already they built network view so they can use this information to other products and use it for decision making. Security policies, App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, IPS, and threat prevention can be consistently applied across branches, campuses, data centers, and remote users. This basically reduces administrative complexity.

DO not compare palo with zscaler, zscaler is like orphan. Palo integrating firewalls, end point security, XDR, SOC, threat intelligence, cloud security and incident response capabilities to the SASE.Security teams get better visibility across network, endpoint, cloud, and users from a unified ecosystem.
