Is artificial intelligence becoming the biggest threat to modern workers?

Biggest problem with AI is, it is doing whatever junior associate can do in far more better way. Suppose earlier TCS used to hire more people from college and used to give jobs to do some basic jobs related to application support. They used to have very less work, with AI it can do all those works very efficiently and with high speed. As per my understanding, TCS clients might not be willing to take more number of resources per project, instead they might be forcing to use AI and reduce resources. Suppose if TCS is not hiring those junior engineer, how will they enter software industry. I am not being specific about TCS, i am focussing on how campus student will enter software if junior roles conquering by AI?

Business always search for way to cutoff costs, in addition to it managing employee includes salary pay, managing leaves , training and long term commitments. Suppose after training if employee leaves it will be big loss to company at the same time order deliver would be delayed. If they pay AI, it can work for weeks without break and it is super fast, efficient and within day it can develop application end to end. It can do work more efficiently than human. Now, Chatbox already replaced customer support teams and they are doing really good. AI writing tools, helping in generating best content. So content creators are almost out. AI coding assistants like claude generating application code in 30 minutes, so its impacting software development industry badly. So considering AI efficiency companies actually preferring it and cutting costs.

AI can assist in creating content, so content creator jobs are at high risk. It can write code for complex application in single day, yes it will impact developer jobs badly. It can generate SEO based descriptions, get trending keywords and do meaning ful help in digital marketing, again it will impact digital marketing industry. It is acting as chat bot and reply in product website so its doing customer service job as well. It can process financial data and it is able to identify loop holes in tax returns. It is able to generate best videos without video editor help. It is keeping its foot path in all the industries and it will emerge even more in coming years.

I own company with an employee count of 100, including administration, helpers and everything it will go upto 130. Developer team around 70 employees, main work of my company is we will bring projects and our developer should build websites and applications for clients. For complex website, our team used to take 7 months like to build a website like instagram. Now they are taking one month to build same website. So rest of the 6 months i should pay them for free. Or i should bring 7 orders. I cannot bring 7 orders, instead of 40 employees i will take AI subscription and pay 10 employees then i will be in benefit. Yes AI will reduce the number of workers drastically and its already happening.

Consider situation i have company, in my company there are 100 employees and i own product which i will sell to other companies, if the other company remove all his employes and replace with AI, to whom i should sell this product? So this company will eventually go down? Consider companies like microsoft who are selling their product to big companies which has multiple employees, if other company removing those employees its direct loss to microsoft. If it build AI and sell AI to other companies, then it may end up in profit, think about the companies which are actually do not build AI? They end up in bankrupt.

AI cannot replace some jobs where they depends on human trust, emotional intelligence , ethics , creativity, leadership and personal relationships. For example: Teacher inspires and encourages students, they build relation with student and motivate them and teacher will become biggest supporter to student. That cannot be done by AI. Doctors make patients to not to panic, if require they will explain process and help patient to become calm. Lawyers help to discuss complex human situations. Police officers solve social issues happening in and around. Consider customer service job, its highly unlikely AI will replace this job, because people prefer human interaction and human trust human so it cant be replaced. So its highly unlikely all the jobs will be replaced or reduced, even though its directly impacting few jobs but down the line it will create many jobs.

AI itself is huge industry now, yes routine jobs will be replaced but it will create new jobs like below: AI engineers Cyber security specialists Prompt engineers Automation technicians AI ethics researchers Digital infrastructure workers Being developer, i am actually finding this AI tool much friendly to do my tasks. Earlier i used to work a week to resolve bug, now i can find bug within 5 min and resolve it in 10 mins. Because of this speed of work actually increased.

I have job, i am staying in atlanta. Every day morning i will eat breakfast outside, will drink juice around 10 o clock. At 12:00 pm again i will have lunch in nice restaurant, around 04:00 pm will have spicy snacks and then at 08:00 pm i will have very good meal outside. So per day i am indirectly helping 5 business. Like me, crores of people helping lakhs of business, if they remove job i will go to home some where remote. Because of me there will be some loss to business. What if millions leave to their home, these business will not run, so their survival will stop, they cant pay money to loans and they cant pay taxes to government and again entire world economy will be impacted.

I am in bangalore, i took 1 crore loan to buy flat. If i lose job how will i pay money to government? Like me, there are crores of people who took loan and what will happen if they lose job? They cannot pay loan to bank, then economy will be dead. That will happen not only to one country, every country would face similar struggle.

I personally feel AI cannot replace jobs, the reason is lets say if AI do all job government lose tax payers. If there is no tax payer, how the government will be funded. Around 20 lakh crore money coming from tax payers to indian government. Government will not allow for layoffs they will regulate.
